What does a serve of dairy look like?

Our modern day diets are incredibly varied and include a large range of foods. Often, this means that no two days look the same! Which can make it tricky when ensuring that our bodies are getting the fuel and nutrients they need.

The first step, is to know how many serves we should be getting daily! And when it comes to dairy, the number of serves you should be having is very much dependent on your age and sex. Check out how much you should be having.

Once you know what’s right for you and your family, then the next step, is to know exactly what a serve of dairy looks like. You might be surprised to see that not all products are equal. For example, 1/2 a cup of ricotta vs a whole cup of milk are both one serve of dairy.
