A tin of baked beans have been a staple pantry item in most Australian households for years, which has seen many enjoy plenty of easy, go-to meals, such as beans on toast, beans served with bacon and eggs, jaffles, and even straight out of the can, hot or cold!
The humble tin of beans has come a long way and is now being used to create delicious meals all around the world. These baked bean potato boats are a fun and tasty way to enjoy this versatile ingredient. All you need is microwaved potatoes, a can of baked beans (we used Shop & Share partner SPC’s baked beans to trigger a donation to FoodBank), cooked chorizo, cooked parsley and to finish it off feta and more parsley. How good does that sound?
